Before I begin, please forgive my English. English is not my first language. Unfortunately for me 2019 begin with a rough start. I was depressed and suffering emotional numbness. During this dark time I try to draw to distract myself, I let Youtube playlist running, especially Eurovision. During that time I re-discovered Amaury Vassili.
Amaury Vassili represent France with the song "Sognu" at Eurovision Song Contest at Düsseldorf, Germany in 2011.
“Unbelievable, how could I overlooked this? I mean his voice is everything. Especially when he cover Celine Dion songs. His cover My Heart Will Go On is everything!”
And not to mention his glorious hair! I really have time sketching his hair and from there I will sketch him whenever I feel depress. Currently he have shorter hair, but he is still fun to sketch.
Birthday Wish Card for Amaury
Well call me crazy, but I decided to paint a birthday wish card for him. This is probably one of my most ambitious project ever; after EXO's Suho's Tarot Card project.
While I really love his longer hair, I wish to honor his current image/style which is why I decided to draw both younger and older version of him; one to represent when he first debut, and another one is the current, much more mature of him. I hope he likes it.
