For our FYP (final year project), our team created a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter game based on Sarawakian cultures and landscape. Because of that our lecturer suggested to have the whole class to have study trip to Sarawak.

Sarawak Culture Village
Known as the 'Living Museum', the Cultural Village was set up to preserve and showcase Sarawak's cultural heritage. Located at Pantai Damai, Santubong, just 32km from the state capital, Kuching, it is the perfect place to get introduced to local culture and lifestyle.
Semenggoh Wildlife Center
The Nature Reserve is managed by the Sarawak Forestry Corporation under the auspices of the Sarawak government. The Semenggoh Wildlife Center, where the orangutan experience is, lies within the Semenggoh Nature Reserve. It was established in 2003.
Jong's Crocodile Farm
Situated at 18 Miles (29km) Kuching/ Serian Highway, a 20 minute leisure drive from Kuching Town, the capital of Sarawak, Land of Hornbills, boasts one of the largest and the only crocodile breeding farm in the country.
Quite proud with the crocodile shots.
Kampung Annah Rais
Annah Rais Longhouse is a Bidayuh settlement about 100km south of Kuching, at the foothill of Borneo Highlands near the mountains marking the border to Kalimantan. Other than the authentic longhouse experience, it is also famous for the hot springs nearby.
Kampung Annah Rais is a large Bidayuh village centred around a centuries-old bamboo longhouse, one of the finest still in existence. The Bidayuh make up about 8% of Sarawak’s population and were formerly known as Land Dayaks.
They are gracious hosts and village is the perfect place to discover Bidayuh culture and learn about their fascinating way of life.
Bidayuh is the collective name for several indigenous groups found in southern Sarawak, Malaysia and northern West Kalimantan, Indonesia, on the island of Borneo, that are broadly similar in language and culture.

James Booke Resutrant
As we walked back to our hotel, I can't help but to take noticed of this particular restaurant. I like the interior that I actually made everyone to have dinner there XD
James Brooke Bistro is a bistro and event venue, set on Kuching’s scenic waterfront by the great Sarawak River. The bistro is named after Sir James Brooke, a Briton who came to Sarawak in the 1800s and played a major role in Sarawak’s past by serving as the first White Rajah (king) of Sarawak.
Bako National Park
With its rainforest, abundant wildlife, jungle streams, waterfalls, interesting plant life, secluded beaches and trekking trails, Bako National Park offers visitors an excellent introduction to the rainforest of Borneo. Bako may not have an instantly recognizable star attraction but there can be very few places in the world that pack so much natural beauty into such a limited area, all just 37 km from Kuching. Its accessibility – and its sheer range of attraction and activities – have made Bako one of the most popular parks in Sarawak.
Bryan was pretty arrogant during the hiking as he stated you're not truly went hiking until you hike in Sarawak or Sabah (neighboring state) forest. I surprised him with my hiking knowledge and capabilities; I had spent my childhood hiking with my dad in most forest reserved in East Malaysia, particularly at Gerik (alternative spelling Grik. Grik pronounced the same way Malay pronounce Greece, thus many mistaken me had been living in Greece)
Group photo at Limkokwing University's Kuching branch. Kucing is the capital of Sarawak
Fun fact; Kuching is the alternate spelling of Kucing, lit. cat. Unsurprisingly, the whole city is decorated with cat themes and cat statues are almost everywhere.
Last day at Kuching Airport, ready to return to Kuala Lumpur.
