Been hearing people said you only look good with expensive stuffs. The nerve! I admit expensive goods, designer brands goods qualities and designs are top par (same goes to the pricing), but to me if someone terrible at styling, even top quality goods won't make them look good, and vise versa. In fact I do feel looking good with top quality goods kinda cheating - after all they're made of top quality material. Don't you think so? ;)
I present you all the thrift goods OOTD (Outfit of the Day) I found at a popular thrift shop Jalan Jalan Japan (JJJ) and I do feel I look gorgeous in each of them! I admit I do take pride of my ability to look good in anything, even with brandless goods. But, I'm not going to deny that I still appreciate branded goods, however, being frugal means I tend to thrift more XD
Before I go any further I must give credit to my friend Kazui Kori. It was her post of her JJJ loots that inspired me to starting labeling all the prices of my JJJ OOTD (Outfit of the Day).
Now let's talk about JJJ. I absolutely love JJJ! The shop have a mixture of pre-loved goods; from branded to low-end but what most important is the pricing. They're absolutely amazing! But because it's a thrift shop, majority of goods are exclusive items. I found so many nice shoes and even dresses that didn't fit me. Some of the goods' conditions are sadly deteriorating too DX
In recent years I even managed to thrift wigs, fake eyelashes and even fake nails - and they all high quality too! I've been using them with my lolita coords.
Jalan Jalan Japan has been in Malaysia since 2016, so it’s no newcomer in the thrifting scene. Its pre-loved goods are from Bookoff, a well-known thrift shop in Japan that buys used goods from Japanese locals and has over 850 outlets there.
A shipment of over 9 containers packed with thrifted goods from Bookoff comes in every month, so you’ll always have something new to look forward to when you’re taking a stroll through any one of Jalan Jalan Japan’s stores.
