After our first meet up in January just before the 2nd MCO started, Miko suggested we need to have another gathering before Ramadan + Raya started.

Due to a mishap and unforeseen circumstances we ended up having gathering at 2 places.
Pokok KL @ MAHSA Avenue
Miko suggested Pokok Kl and the photos she shared looks breathtaking and looks perfect for a doll gathering. We all immediately agree of the location.
Pokok KL, despite the name is actually closer to Petaling Jaya (PJ) so I decided to overnight at my friend's place. The next day I become the first to arrive and I was shocked to see the crowd! In fact everyone is required to take numbers for their turn.
I learnt if we came more than 3 people we will not be placed in Pkok but rather to a hall next to it known as The Grounds (we have 9 people total). While waiting Kyo and her husband arrived and they decided to scout around in case the area have better cafe or restaurant for our gathering.
The Ground is indeed spacious and we were given a rather private corner. Love it. The downside tho; once we make order and the food arrived, we only have an hour and half to stay before we are needed to leave. Plus the hall rather noisy and the echoes not helping.
The waiter is explaining how the (no cash/online payment) and dining timing system works.
But I gotta admit the place is Instgram worthy place and of course I need to take so selfies..
Despite the price (which between moderate to expensive), the foods are fantastic! Not only they're very delicious, their portions are big as well! Total Satisfaction!
SMOKED SALMON BENEDICT – consists of two mouth-watering poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and a side of sautéed mushrooms.
Best order ever! Since I have the tendency to make terrible orders whenever we hangout at fancy cafes or restaurants, I'm totally happy with this order. I'm looking forward to come here again and enjoy this dish again. After all of 9 of us arrived, we all decided to have lunch here (I mean we already here) and move to other place for the doll gathering (where we will take out our dolls).
Therefore Cafe @ Menara Symphony
We decided to go to Therefore Cafe at Menara Symphony which is literally less than 10 mins away. This cafe also Instagram worthy, even from the outside, and of course....
Apparently due to the pandemic and the new SOP, here too we only have an hour and half to stay before we are needed to leave. We deo just drink and snack since we had eaten.
And finally we taking out our lovely dolls. Majority brings vinyl dolls instead of bjds.
Taking first group photos as we already stay for one hour plus. Time to move outside!
We continue to chat and hangout outside. I took some candid shot and Miko looks like a, well, a miko (Japanese shrine maiden/priestess) giving offers while taking shots.
Finally group photos with doll owners. It was a fun day and despite the earlier mishap it was a fun gathering to catch up with everyone (and we speaks Malay and English haha)
